Ese es un encuentro<br \/>\na que asistimos<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">de fuerzas m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del control por el experimento ?<br \/>\nde la Naturaleza y del Esp\u00edritu. Sobre todo la experiencia<br \/>\nindividual es demasiado grande o demasiado peque\u00f1a.<br \/>\nNuestras emociones<br \/>\nson s\u00f3lo \u00abincidentes\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">En el esfuerzo por conservar unidos d\u00eda y noche,<br \/>\nparece posible apenas que un poema pueda acontecerle<br \/>\na un joven: pero un poema no es la poes\u00eda ?<br \/>\neso lo es una vida.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">La guerra no es una vida: es una situaci\u00f3n,<br \/>\nque no se puede ignorar ni aceptar,<br \/>\nun problema a que hacer frente con emboscadas y estratagemas<br \/>\nenvolvi\u00e9ndolo o desparram\u00e1ndolo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Lo que perdura no es un sustitutivo de lo que pasa,<br \/>\nni esto de lo otro. This is a meeting<br \/>\nOn which we attend<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Of forces beyond control by experiment ?<br \/>\nOf Nature and the Spirit. Mostly the individual<br \/>\nExperience is too large, or too small. Our emotions<br \/>\nAre only \u2018incidents\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">In the effort to keep day and night together.<br \/>\nIt seems just possible that a poem might happen<br \/>\nTo a very young man: but a poem is not poetry ?<br \/>\nThat is a life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">War is not a life: it is a situation;<br \/>\nOne which may neither be ignored nor accepted,<br \/>\nA problem to be met with ambush and stratagem,<br \/>\nEnveloped or scattered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The enduring is not a substitute for the transient,<br \/>\nNeither one for the other.
